The Project

We were instructed to submit an appeal against the refusal of planning permission for two retrospective dormer windows in Bristol. Despite the dormer windows being very small, and almost identical to those recently approved on the house next door, Bristol City Council unfortunately refused planning permission.

We put together a comprehensive appeal statement arguing that the dormers were not harmful and pointing out the obvious inconsistency in decision making by the Council.

The Appeal was allowed in July 2025 to the great relief of the clients!
