The Project

We were approached by a Post 16 SEND provider to apply for a change of use of a building to establish a new education setting on a site in Flood Zone 3.

Pre-application advice had been sought before we were involved and required that flood risk was addressed in the future planning application. We put together a comprehensive Planning Statement and planning application to demonstrate that the change of use was policy compliant and while we had some issues with regard to flood risk and highways, these were eventually overcome we were very pleased to receive planning permission in February 2025.
